Dealing with Depression
Depression can feel as if you’re dropping into a bottomless pit. Or, things may feel absolutely flat. Nothing bothers you. Nothing excites you. Nothing draws a response from you. There is no pulse in your life at all. That can be even worse.
Friends and family, trying to be helpful, may tell you to snap out of it. Or, remind you that everybody has the blues sometimes. But depression is more than just a bad day or two. And, like any physical ailment, it’s important that you take care of it as soon as possible.
How? With caring, consistent support. Someone who won’t try to talk you out of your depression, but lead you through it.
