Therapy for Grief, Depression, and Developing Resiliency
Sometimes, you just need to talk.
You need to talk because you’re grieving or depressed. Perhaps you’re anxious or worried. Or maybe you just feel stuck.
You’ve got an idea. A question. A loss. A dream. And you want to bounce it off someone to see if what you’re saying and feeling makes sense.
All of those things, any of those things, can be a reason to see someone in therapy. Going to therapy doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. All it means is that you’ve got something you want to talk about. And you want to go where you know someone will be listening.

It’s important to remember that emotions fluctuate up, down and sideways! Recognizing where you are helps orient you in the present and keeps you moving ahead.
Which way are you going?
Whenever something happens we can
say YES or NO.
YES is allowing. NO is resisting.
Your answer won’t change the situation. However it can absolutely change how you feel.
Developing the ability to say YES to whatever happens in life – good, bad, or indifferent – is what I call learning to BOUNCE.
BOUNCE allows you to be fully present, bringing your core strengths and the best of who you are to every situation.
And that can change everything.
